Selection Process
Written examination – It is designed for 300 marks and comprises objective-type questions. The exam duration is 2 hours, covering topics like General Knowledge, General Hindi, Numerical and Mental Ability, and Reasoning Ability. To advance to the next stage, candidates must surpass a specified cut-off mark.
Physical Standard Test (PST)- The test assesses candidates’ physical attributes, including height, weight, and chest measurements for male candidates. Failure to meet the specified physical criteria leads to disqualification from subsequent stages.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)- It involves activities such as running, long jump, high jump, etc., with specific requirements that may vary.

UPPRPB Constable Exam Pattern
- The exam will be for 2 hours (120 minutes).
- It will be an objective exam.
- It will consist of four papers: General Hindi, General Knowledge, Numerical & Mental Ability Test, and Mental 4. Aptitude /Intelligence /Reasoning.
- The exam will be of 300 marks in total with 150 questions, and each question will carry +2 marks.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.5 for every wrong answer.
- The exam will be in a bilingual language (English & Hindi).
UP Police Constable Admit Card Details
The UP Police Admit Card holds critical information for the recruitment process, including the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, time, venue, and instructions. It is imperative for candidates to bring their admit card on the examination day.
In addition to the printed UP Police Admit Card, candidates are required to carry two passport-size photographs and a photo identity proof. Acceptable photo identity proofs include Aadhar Card, PAN card, Driving License, voter’s ID Card, Bank Passbook with attested photo, or Passport. - Now go to ‘direct recruitment section’ on the homepage.
- Now select “आरक्षी नागरिक पुलिस के पदों पर सीधी भर्ती-2023”.
- Now you will be directed to a new page. Click on ‘admit card link’.
- Fill out required details, such as registration number, date of birth, and password.
- Log in. You can see the admit card. Download it.
- Take a print-out of the admit card.
